Ferrero Rocher taps social media this Valentine’s day

No Valentine Day gift is said to be complete without chocolates. Ferrero Rocher has planned thematic branding on its packs this V-Day. The key message of the branding is ‘love wrapped in gold’, with the focus being the Ferrero Rocher praline wrapped as a golden gift.

The packs available for sale would include packs of five Ferrero Rocher pralines, 16 pralines and pralines – all with thematic branding.

Ferrero Rocher is engaging consumers with a V-Day contest on Facebook from February 2-14, 2015. The contest allows a person share his/ her love story and get a chance to win a dinner date from Ferrero Rocher and 96 Ferrero Rocher pralines pyramid for their loved ones. For participation log on

Talking about tapping the social medium, Emanuele Fiordalisi, Head - Marketing, Ferrero India, says, “For an occasion like Valentine’s Day, it was important for the brand to let fans share their romantic ‘golden’ moments. Fans are keen on participating in such online contests as was observed during the digital initiatives we ran during Diwali and Christmas. Going further, we are keen on exploring the digital medium as an integral part of our communication strategy.”
