Digitas India has introduced an e-commerce solution for brands seeking to launch and maintain a professional and effective retail presence on the internet. Vivek Ballabh, Vice President – Digital Media, Digitas will lead this initiative.
The Indian e-commerce market will reach $1.6 billion in 2012 and it expected to grow five-fold, reaching $ 8.8 billion by 2016 (Source: Forrester). Today, the space is attracting many new players who want a share of the pie. Digitas e-commerce solution has technology capabilities that can be used to build every kind of store – from a small boutique to an entire online mall, shared an official release.
Digitas’ offering claims to help romance the product or service by presenting it in an interesting and exciting way. This includes visual presentation, reviews, ratings, social connects and demonstrations. In other words, it ensures that customers can be moved from researching to shopping mode.

The company will partner closely with brands to jointly define and arrive at a RoI on marketing spends. It uses insights based on data to plan an optimal media mix. This will helps its clients in defining target group without worrying about which channels to use.
