Digitas India appoints Nirmal Dayani as Chief Operating Officer

Digitas India, a digital marketing agency, has appointed Nirmal Dayani as its Chief Operating Officer. Dayani will report to Kanika Mathur, President - Digitas India

Dayani brings over 21 years of work experience in the field of advertising and marketing with significant exposure to Digital. He has worked in companies such as McCann Erickson, JWT and ESPN Star Sports.

In his experience, Dayani has worked with brands such as Pepsi, Horlicks and Harpic. Prior to this, he was Head of Marketing at ESPN STAR Sports, where he was involved in the launch of channels such as STAR Cricket, ESPN HD and STAR Cricket HD. He led the company's diversification into new properties such as - Espnstar, Espn Mobile. His experience with Digital started with the launch of ‘Super Selector’ cricket game and several other properties for Espnstar.com.

Speaking on his appointment, Nirmal Dayani said, “This is an amazing opportunity and I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Digitas India team. In this new digital era we have a great opportunity to integrate our offerings and adding value to our customers/clients portfolios. I am looking forward to working closely with our clients and together developing their digital roadmaps and taking them to the next level in their growth curve.”

Kanika Mathur added, “We are looking forward to Nirmal leading Digitas India. We believe that with his experience and skills he will play a key role in nurturing client relationships, and driving growth.”
