Digital marketer Blazar turns one

Digital marketing agency Blazar recently celebrated its first anniversary. In the one last year, it has worked with various companies, including Makemytrip.com, Shine.com, and DealsandYou.com. The company specialises in working with online businesses, and Deven Dharamdasani, Business Head, Blazar, said, “We have been a part of many path breaking digital marketing innovations. We are proud to celebrate our first year. We began as just a part of Quasar, and this presence helped us to overcome most of the problems associated with startups.”

“We have grown with the digital medium in India and I am proud to be part of the best digital talent pool in the country. It’s great to be surrounded by so much energy and passion. All our experience, expertise and energy are focused on providing our customers the greatest ROI with new innovations that become industry best practices,” added Harkirat Sandhu, Account Director, Blazar.

In their one year, Blazar’s client list has included Makemytrip, Shine.com and DealsandYou, Straightline.in, Autojunction.in (a part of Tata Motors), Helpage India and BenQ India.

According to Dharamdasani, “Blazar has devised strategies for players who have an inclination for digital as the business driver. We worked upon different areas for advertisers – website usability and analytics, creative communication strategy, media planning and buying, search engine marketing/ optimisation and social media.” He added that although the Internet was being treated as a return on investment medium, this should mean more than just the acquisition of a customer. This return can be measured through different means like reach and frequency of a campaign, new visitors, frequent visitors and time on site, to name a few applicable metrics. With this approach, Blazar has been able to scale the business and also given the existing advertisers a new dimension to look at.
