CVS Sharma (popularly known as Venke), Executive Director and Head of Digital at Leo Burnett Worldwide has decided to move on. Sharma had a six-year stint with Leo Burnett Network.
His next move is not yet known.
Sharma joined as the Head of Arc Worldwide India, the global marketing services agency of the Leo Burnett Network. He was promoted as the Executive Director and Head of Digital at the agency’s Indonesia office in February 2012.
“It is time to look out for new challenges,” Sharma shared with exchange4media. “It has been an extremely satisfying and eventful tenure at Leo Burnett. Setting and scaling up the integrated marketing services arm of Leo Burnett – Arc Worldwide in India and thereafter building the digital practice in Indonesia are highlights of my tenure with the network. Leo Burnett has provided me ample opportunities to build upon my expertise in digital and also manage initiatives of scale in shopper, direct and activation,” he added.
During his term in Indonesia, Sharma created digital activation programmes for clients such as McDonald's, Coco-Cola, Minute Maid Pulpy, P&G and Samsung. He has 16 years of experience in the digital media space. He built up Arc Worldwide as an integrated marketing services agency with focus on digital and shopper marketing and was a part of Tribal DDB prior to his stint with Arc.
Sharma’s last day at Leo Burnett will be on April 12, 2013.
