CMP, CyberMedia launch website on outsourcing services

CMP-CyberMedia LLC on January 13, 2006 launched www.globalservicesmedia.com, a website dedicated to global technology and business services sourcing. The Global Services website is touted as the first initiative towards building powerful media solutions connecting the global buyers and sellers of business and technology services.

Targeted at professionals who want to master the worldwide sourcing of people, processes and technologies, the website offers information ranging from business process outsourcing, IT outsourcing, customer service and the effective management of global business operations.

Industry experts also facilitate peer discussions, illuminate best practices, and shortlist the most innovative and effective suppliers of business and technology services.

The website offers a blog by Shyamanuja Das, Executive Editor Online, a weekly newsletter and current columns by industry experts such as Michael Corbett, Rita Terdiman and Debashish Sinha. Corbett is President of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals. Terdiman is a former Gartner offshore outsourcing analyst, who partnered with Debashish Sinha, a former analyst and Six Sigma expert, to form Conscient Partners.

Rusty Weston, Editor-in-Chief, Global Services, said, “For those who want to master the disciplines of sourcing – people, processes and technology – we aim to become the deepest, timeliest and most useful information source.”

The website will be followed by the launch of the monthly magazine, ‘Global Services’, and the Global Services conference on February 2 in New York.
