In a bid to build a greater connect with its youth TG, CavinKare has unveiled a website for its brand Spinz. Spinz, which targets young women with its deodorants, talcum powder and perfumes, aims to interact with its young consumers through this virtual space.
The interactive website, www.spinz.com, offers a plethora of information starting from the hippest youth hangout to the latest trends. Speaking on the rational behind launching the website, Ramesh Viswanathan, Excutive Director, CavinKare, said, “We need to catch the consumers through different touch points. Today, consumers watch television, read newspapers, they also spend a lot of time on the Internet. Therefore, the Net has become an integral part of today’s life. This medium also offers a lot of scope for a brand to set a two-way interaction with consumers and can become the mainstay of brand communication in the future.”
Acknowledging that creating abuzz around the website was of paramount important, Viswanathan said that the buzz could be created in two ways – one is through getting more traffic to the website and through good content management. “We should also make sure that the content is refreshed on a regular basis as the amount of traffic the website is able to gather would depend on the quality of the website,” he added.
CavinKare has also announced some exciting contests along with the launch of the website.
