Catch News registers 70% growth in last quarter

Within a span of 18 months, Catch News has registered 70% growth in last quarter with 5 million UVs according to Comscore Dec’16.  Catch News is ahead of other established players in this niche segment, which includes sites such as Huffpost, Quint, Scroll, Mid-day, ForbesIndia, and The News Minute. As per latest Comscore report, Catch News Android users have grown by over 30%.

Catch News was launched in June 2015 with a focus to deliver unbiased content with high quality news-on-the-run for an engaged yet busy young generation. And ever since it has been creating content for the deeper consumer of news with long formats supported by videos, podcasts, graphics and text to create both substance and speed, depth and diversity. Recently Catch News was nominated amongst the top 3 news content website by IAMAI.

Catch News has become one of the fastest growing news websites in recent times. The company’s growth story also includes Catch Hindi in its success route. Launched in January 2016, Catch News Hindi has witnessed phenomenal growth in OND quarter with 142% growth in UVs and 113% growth in Sessions, which now stands at 6.5 million.

With this audience growth and reach the last few months Catch News witnessed many new advertisers on board including Airtel, British Airways, Yatra, Jeevansathi, Government of India to name a few and it recently added  Go Air  to its list of clients.

Catch News recently entered into strategic partnerships with Reliance Jio and Yahoo with the intent to scale its content network reach
It also partnered with IIC for their prestigious annual event  ‘A festival of the Arts’, which was attended by the crème la crème of social,  art and culture personalities. It was the first time that IIC had enlisted a media partner.
