BigFlix Movie Rentals goes mobile with BigFlix Smart Client and Big Flix WAP sites

BigFlix Movie Rentals (www.rental.bigflix.com), the movie rentals division of BigFlix.com (a part of Reliance Big Entertainment), has unveiled the BigFlix Smart Client and the BigFlix WAP site demonstrating its next generation mobility-centered hybrid service enhancement. With these services, BigFlix subscribers can now borrow and return their favorite DVDs while on-the-move through their handhelds.

With the rollout of BigFlix Smart Client and the BigFlix WAP site, combined with its pre-existing SMS and voice-based mobile interactive services, BigFlix.com has pioneered the development revolutionary interactive services across the wide range of handheld devices.

The user has to simply click on the link to download the application, which takes just a few seconds, followed by a few step-by-step on-screen installation instructions. Subsequent to the successful installation, the BigFlix Smart Client is ready to use. Alternately, users can choose to download this application by entering their mobile number on the BigFlix website and follow the instructions on their mobile screens.

BigFlix.com Movie Rentals is claimed to be India’s largest online and offline movie rental service, offering access to 21,000 titles. BigFlix.com claims to have a vast membership base of around 80,000 customers in the country and currently has around 95 state-of-the-art stores in 10 cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Indore.
