Project Nanhi Kali was established in 1996 with the aim of providing education to underprivileged girl children in India. It was founded with astrong belief that educated women would not only contribute to the economy but also issues of population and social evils like the dowrysystem and child marriage would reduce as more women are educated. Big Rattle started the redesign process with analysis and audit of existing website to come up with a plan. Web analytics was a vital tool to help Project Nanhi Kali and Big rattle team decide the direction for the new website revamp. We used heatmaps, click rate analysis and referral analysis to empowerdata-driven decision on which to base the design and flow of thewebsite. This in turn enhances the online customer experience toensure maximization of engagement and support Project Nanhi Kali through donations.
