BC Web Wise bags Nickelodeon, Emami, Lexus biz; eyes 70 pc growth

BC Web Wise has been having a busy time winning new business and has added the digital accounts of Nickelodeon, Emami, and Lexus (Saudi Arabia), among others, to its kitty. The work for the new clients ranges from website revamp to Search Engine Optimisation.

BC Web Wise’s new wins in September 2010 include those of Dial-n-Connect and Medient Production House. The agency will manage their digital presence too.

Commenting on the new wins, Chhaya Balachandran Aiyer, Founder and MD, BC Web Wise, told exchange4media, “The work for all the new accounts range from initiating web identity to digital media strategy, which would include the whole digital pie, that is, display advertising, SEO, SEM, SMO, mobiles, etc.”

The agency is also managing the online presence of United Phosphorous, Tara Jewels, Mccain Foods, Jai Hind College, Bajaj Herbal, Monsanto, Information Technology Park, and Tatva Global Environment, among others.

With plenty of fresh businesses on board, the agency is upbeat about the growth graph as well. Aiyer informed, “We had a 100 per cent growth y-o-y from 2004 to 2008. However, the last two years were pretty much flat. We expect to grow by around 70 per cent this year.”

Apart from new accounts, BC Web Wise has been busy with new employees as well. The agency has made two key appointments to its core team. Vaibhav Wankhede has joined the agency as Creative Director (SMO). He was earlier a producer with MTV. The second appointment is that of Rajesh Narasimhan, who too joins from MTV. Narasimhan has come on board as Head, Business Strategist.

On the agency’s new appointees, Aiyer said, “Other than a complete out-of the-box thinking that he brings to the table, Vaibhav’s social media work for MTV is going to be an asset for us as today our digital plans have social media integrated into them. And the creative geek that Rajesh is, our business development team has just got a whole lot richer, for we are looking at richer media, more broadcast creatives becoming the order of the day for the web.”

Some of the work that has gone Live recently includes the websites for Lexus Hybrid, Tatva Global Environment and Society Tea. In the past, BC Web Wise has executed global websites for Sunsilkgangofgirls.com. The product-based informative website has been developed not only for India but for countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan and Indonesia as well.

The agency has also recently bagged global recognition with FWA Site of the Day award given for their work for Allen Solly (http://www.allensolly.com).
