AZ Research looks at online research to be future growth driver

AZ Research Partners Pvt Ltd (AZR), a marketing consultancy firm offering market research, market intelligence and consultancy services, is of the opinion that research is moving very fast towards social media platform and that online research will be the next big thing.

Sujay Misra, Managing Director, AZ Research Partners, elaborated, “Today, the entire manner of research is changing and the strategic shift is beyond the face to face to being more focused. In context of this change, the social media platform has been providing an able support in changing the face of research. Any research on online media will attract only those who are attracted or have a view on that subject, unlike the traditional research where you have to contact people and ask them to answer. Hence, the date received from the former will be more robust.”

He added, “Social media platforms like the Facebook are neutral platforms, hence placing a research on that helps to get an unbiased view. And as more numbers get comfortable interacting online, it will become a potent tool for researchers.”

The online medium also helps in targeting very specific TG, but don’t think that online research is attractive because it’s cost effective. It’s attractive because of the possibilities that it opens for researchers. Misra predicted that today online comprised just 10 per cent of the research, but was poised to grow to almost 50 per cent in three years’ time.

AZR offers services to capture methodical market information requirements. It covers the full spectrum of market related information that a brand or a company may need in its pursuit of growth. It offers services that address traditional research needs as well as innovative and out of the ordinary research requirements across methodology and design spectrum.
