Ahead of Diwali launch, Microsoft launches India website for Xbox 360

Ahead of the launch of Xbox 360 in India, Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division has launched a website, www.xbox.com/in, for Xbox 360 enthusiasts in the country.

The specially designed Xbox 360 India website gives an insight into Xbox 360, its features, hardware, games, accessories and all the latest news and updates on the next generation gaming console. It transports the viewer to the thrilling world of gaming and digital entertainment, complete with all the necessary information on the latest gaming titles. The website is a single window to the world of Xbox 360.

Mohit Anand, Country Manager, Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division, India, said, “The Xbox 360 India website is for all Xbox 360 enthusiasts who want first hand information on the gaming console before its launch near Diwali. Gamers can now simply log on to access the latest information on Xbox 360, which will now be only a click away.”

Microsoft launched the gaming console Xbox in November 2001, now sold in 26 countries. It introduced its next-generation system, Xbox 360, in the 2005 holiday season in Europe, Japan and North America, and subsequently in Australia, Colombia, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan in 2006.

Xbox 360 is the most powerful video game and entertainment system, delivering games, the next generation of the premier Xbox Live online gaming service, and digital entertainment experiences that revolve around gamers.
