Adlabs Cinemas has launched a new initiative, Adlabs easyticket, which enables customers to purchase tickets, food and beverages through their mobile. This service is available at Adlabs Cinemas across the country. This technology-led application allows customers to enjoy a completely cashless and even cardless experience at Adlabs Cinemas. After making purchases of a certain value, customers can also go on to further gift portions of the easyticket, through the mobile.
Tushar Dhingra, COO, Adlabs Cinemas, said, “The Adlabs easyticket is a convenient yet secure option that Adlabs Cinemas provides to its patrons. Additionally, the easyticket can be gifted on festive occasions too. It is indeed a pleasure to be a pioneer of such a service that will not only make the purchasing of tickets more efficient, but also enhance the entire cinema going experience.”
Dhinga explained that such an initiative was undertaken to capture the impulsive buying nature of consumers, with more disposable money available.
Adlabs easyticket is available in denominations of Rs 200, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, and can be bought in three different ways – by purchasing a scratch card at the box office, via the Adlabs Cinema’s call centre, or through the Adlabs website. The easyticket can be used at all Adlabs Cinemas, except Fame Adlabs.
EPIN is a unique transaction ID that needs to be generated to use the Adlabs easyticket balance. A seven-digit code can be received by SMS, upon sending EPIN to 53030. This code can be used to book tickets via box office, website or IVR, or to purchase refreshments at the concession counter. Once the EPIN is used for a purchase, it cannot be reused.
