With Narendra Modi-led NDA government completing its two years in power on May 16, 2016, the country has witnessed multiple hits --including the closing of a tax loophole and overhaul of  red-tape inducing colonial-era bankruptcy law, and misses that range from a failure to enact a decade-overdue national sales tax to a lack of labour-market liberalization, within this time frame.

The occasion has been extensively covered by well-known publications with their reviews on the government’s performance.  

The second anniversary was trending on Twitter under the hashtag 2yrsOfHistoricWinOfNaMo, getting easily over 70K mentions within eight hours and even ranked 15th worldwide (by Top Trends Worldwide handle). The tweets were mostly positive in nature with most reminiscing over BJP’s victory two years back and pointing out its achievements over the same time frame, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s critics chose the occasion to speak their mind over its failures.
