The third day of the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival (IAF) 2007 may not have begun on the best note for the Indian delegates who were looking out for the Cyber Lions shortlist. Only one entry of the 36 sent has made it to the shortlist. Last year, there were 31 entries sent from India and no ‘Lions’ were won in this category from India.

The entry in the shortlist is Tribal DDB India’s work for MTV Asia from Mumbai. The entry is titled ‘Protected Entry’ in the category Charity, Public Health & Safety, Public Awareness.

The Cyber Jury President is Tom Eslinger, Creative Director-Interactive and Emerging Technologies, Saatchi & Saatchi. The 25-member team also includes V Ramani, Vice Chairman, Connecturf. The winners will be announced tomorrow.

The festival is also looking forward to how many ‘Lions’ India manages in the Radio, Media and Outdoor category, the winners of which would be announced today.
