Zenith Optimedia awarded media mandate for Times Business Solutions

Zenith Optimedia has bagged the media business of Times Business Solutions following a multi-agency pitch. Zenith Optimedia will be Times Business Solutions’ agency for all traditional media and will be handling the media planning, buying and advertising releases for online classified brands such as TimesJobs.com, SimplyMarry.com, MagicBricks.com, and global ad booking engine, Ads2Book.com.

Speaking of the new association with Zenith Optimedia, R Sundar, President, Times Business Solutions, said, “We are very pleased to have Zenith Optimedia on board as our media buying agency and have great expectations from them. Zenith Optimedia has the potential of leveraging our innately strong brands, consolidating our No. 1 position in e-recruitment and online real estate, and providing that final thrust to make us leaders in online matrimonials and across all our other businesses.”

“Zenith Optimedia won this account post a five-agency pitch. Sound strategy based on consumer and category understanding and a strong focus on ROI are what tipped the scales in their favour. The traditional media spend for Times Business Solutions is worth Rs 50 crore, of which Rs 15 crore will be allocated to television and radio,” said Rajeev Gaur, VP, Times Business Solutions.

Commenting on this partnership, Ambika Srivastava, CEO, ZenithOptimedia India, said, “We are looking forward to handling this valuable account. The Times Business Solutions brands are operating in an exciting domain that offers us the opportunity to do some exciting work.”
