Zapak.com, Reliance Entertainment’s online gaming venture, has announced a revision of its online targets and called for a pitch for its online advertising duties. Zapak has been in the media lately for signing on Bollywood stars Bipasha Basu and Salman Khan for endorsing its online games. Moreover, the Reliance ADA Group is investing close to $100 million in this venture over the next three years.
Talking about the call for the pitch, Arun Mehra, Chief Marketing Officer, Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd, said, “We have garnered a stupendous response for our first spell. Our 360-degree marketing approach has brought us a response which has surpassed all expectations. Looking at the quantum of the response, the management has revised the online targets as they realize the potential and also decided to up our spends to Rs 15 crore.”
“We are in the process of inviting agencies to pitch for what is deemed to be the largest spender in the online entertainment category,” added Mehra.
