Yatra.com has appointed Leo Burnett as its creative agency. The account size is pegged at Rs 8 crore. The incumbent agency was Everest Brand Solutions. Optimum Media Solutions will continue to handle the media duties.
Nikhil Rungta, Marketing Head, Yatra.com, said, “Although Everest Brand Solutions did good work for us, the unfortunate fact was that all those in the agency who were working on our account moved out. That’s why we needed to appoint a new agency. Leo Burnett is currently in process of working on the campaigns for us, which will be released in two weeks.”
Ali Imran, EVP and Branch Head, Leo Burnett, said, “We are happy to be working with Yatra.com. We will do the kind of work that would help them differentiate the work done by earlier agencies. We will be coming up with some innovative ideas and campaigns in near future.”
Imran further said, “We will be rolling out a 360-degree campaign including print, TVC, outdoors and below-the-line activities. The print campaign has is already visible in newspapers and magazines, while the TVC will break in about 15 days, as also the radio campaign. The outdoor campaign will break in major metros in a few days.”
