Xerox partners with Ad Club’s Annual Ad Review 2008 to showcase ‘Wacky Talky 08’

Xerox India has tied with the Bombay Ad Club for the Annual Ad Review 2008. Xerox would be launching the concept of ‘Wacky Talky 08’, a first-of-its-kind initiative for the advertising community in India, during the Ad Review 2008. Wacky Talky 08 is aimed to ‘Xpress’ and ‘Voice’ the unspoken and behind the scenes real life stories of ad agencies in a form of a personalised book. The top two wackiest entries would be awarded a fun trip to an exotic location.

Sharing details of Xerox’s association with the Ad Review 2008, Vipin Tuteja, Executive Director, Production Systems Group, Xerox India Ltd, said, “Xerox is the market leader in the digital printing market that is growing at a rapid pace. We believe the advertising industry will be among the key industries that will emerge as one of the fastest adopters of digital printing, which will redefine the endless possibilities in the way printing can be done.”

He further said, “Our association with the Ad Review 2008 is an ideal platform to get closer to the advertising fraternity and showcase the endless benefits of personalisation and customisation. The Bombay Ad Club is the most recognised platform of the Indian advertising sector, and we are committed to partner with platforms like this to accelerate the growth of digital printing in the advertising sector.”

Personalised printing is becoming a necessary tool for the advertising industry to be able to offer its customers more targeted communications that have been proven to yield greater results. Further, the company also indicated its plans to educate and create awareness about the benefits of digital printing and showcase applications / solutions targeted specifically for the advertising and graphic arts community in India.

With a team of Xerox digital printing experts in the next six months Xerox will roll out a focused market engagement programme, customised roadshows, seminars, workshops, etc., in the top metros and mini-metros. Additionally, Xerox will develop customised solutions for the advertising agencies based on their work requirements.
