Wynn Telecom ropes in Saif Ali Khan as brand ambassador

Wynn Telecom Ltd, the company that had recently forayed into the mobile handset market through brand ‘Wynncom’, has signed on actor Saif Ali Khan as its brand ambassador.

Expressing his view on the development, Rakesh Malhotra, Co-Founder and Chairman, Wynn Telecom Ltd, said, “We believe that the association is a perfect match between Saif’s personality and what we stand for as a brand. We are glad to sign him as he is admired, aggressive and extremely popular within the youth.”

On his association, Saif Ali Khan said, “I am excited to represent brand Wynncom that stands for cutting-edge innovation and style. I admire the brand’s attitude and style and relate to it closely as it is refreshingly trendy and fast.”

Wynn Telecom Ltd will launch its Wynncom brand of handsets in May this year. Wynn Telecom is an extension of SAR Group of Companies, which has Luminous as the flagship brand. Through Wynn Telecom, SAR Group now ventures into the telecom space and will initially offer mobile handsets for the pan-Indian market in the next three months through a robust distribution network. The products will be marketed under the brand name ‘Wynncom’.
