With Maruti, ITC, Titan and TGBL’s media pitches, Rs 1300 crore of ad monies up for grabs


The last couple of months have been a busy time for media agencies in India, with four major media pitches in the running. 


ITC (Imperial Tobacco Company of India Limited) which initiated a media pitch ITC across verticals, is undoubtedly the biggest pitch of recent times, the multiagency pitch took place in Bangalore over the weekend.  Madison is current agency on record. The account size is estimated to be in the range of Rs 500 crore.


Another big brand that has initiated a media pitch is Maruti Suzuki. The pitch is for mainline media barring digital, the digital duties for the account are currently handled by the Dentsu Aegis


network(DAN), IPG Mediabrands’ Initiative is the current agency on record for this account. The account size is estimated to be in the range of Rs 400 crore.


The other media pitches which were initiated towards the end of last year include Tata Group's Titan Industries and Tata Global Beverages Limited (TGBL). While the former is an India centric pitch, the latter is said to include Russia and MENA regions as well, Maxus is the current agency on both the accounts.
