With Lintas, Dalda Oil seeks to hit the small screen after a decade

Bunge India, a subsidiary of Bunge Limited, has unveiled a new ad campaign for Dalda Oil. The campaign has been created by Lintas. Interestingly, the campaign is Dalda’s first foray on the small screen after almost a decade. Incidentally, Dalda was the second ever brand to advertise in motion format way back in 1939.

“Dalda is a brand that the Indian consumer has always depended on and trusted throughout its 70 years of existence. With this campaign we are reinforcing the Dalda message of quality, taste and trust that now extends to our range of edible oils. This campaign also marks the entry of Dalda on television after a decade’s absence,” said Videh Jaipuriar, Vice-president, Bunge India.

The advertisement begins at a dinning table laden with food that looks dull and unexciting in a dark room. Dalda Oil’s entry rises like the sun from the window and with its rays, magically transforms the food that’s laid out into delicious, mouth-watering savouries. The rays transform the look of the entire table by changing the look and feel of the food on the table. The frame then dissolves and focuses on the Dalda Range of oils and packs.

Besides conveying the key messages of taste and trust, the campaign also tries to create brand recall and generate awareness about the Dalda range of edible oils.
