Wish, Click and Go: on a roll with new TVCs

Online travel agency has got a new tag line – Wish, Click and Go. The portal has also launched two TVCs with the new tagline, while two more are slated for release in January next year. The creative agency is Leo Burnett. Co-founder, Sachin Bhatia, said, “ for the first time has got a tag line. The brief that we gave to the agency was that we are a comprehensive travel portal and not just a booking site for tickets. We wanted to showcase our hotel, vacations, car rentals and weekend getaways. We also wanted to go beyond the lowest airfares logo.”

He further said, “We are doing a 360-degree campaign on the film. It includes TVCs, hoardings at airports, the Internet, print, etc.”

Elaborating on the TVCs, Leo Burnett, Creative Director, Sainath Saraban, said, “We have made these films in the mould of some of the most popular TV soaps today. For instance, one TVC depicts the typical saas-bahu conflict, where the miffed daughter-in-law logs on to, books a holiday package, and leaves home. In the second TVC, we focus on the portal’s foreign shopping network, in which two foreigners are shown logging on to and go on a shopping spree online. The third TVC features a Bappi Lahiri lookalike, who is going on a weekend trip after logging on to the portal. The final TVC taps into the immense popularity of Astha channel regular, Baba Ramdev. In the midst of his yoga demonstrations, the ascetic wonders where he can get the lowest fares, and then logs on to”
