Who will be the ‘Agency of the Year’ @Goafest?: Goafest 2013

exchange4media asks young adlanders to predict the winner of the ‘Agency of the Year’ award at the Creative Abbys, Goafest 2013. Unlike last year, when Ogilvy emerged a clear winner, a couple of names are doing the rounds this year…Leo Burnett, Taproot, DDB Mudra…wait to see who wins!

Jaideep Thackeray, Junior Art Director, Minority Brand Creation
This time Ogilvy is not participating. Probably it would be Taproot; they have been doing some good work.

Jitendra Patel, Senior Art Director, DDB Mudra Group
Whatever work I have seen till now, Taproot and McCann have done the best work in terms of design. Leo Burnett has also done some awesome work. But I can’t judge anything as I have to still see all the entries.

Anwesha Mukherjee, Copywriter, Response India
Whatever little I have seen from the hangars today, I think Leo Burnett should win. The creatives are very sleek. It is less of words and more of design.

Ashwini Patil, Group Manager, DraftFcb+Ulka
I think our agency should win the ‘Agency of the Year’ award. I am expecting a lot of fun from the awards night.

Anil Kakar, Founder/CCO, Gasoline
It looks like Leo Burnett would win. I think they have done great work. And I am hoping to see the best work as always at the awards night.

Lokesh Naik, Art Director, Magnumintergrafiks
Creative ads of people who come from an unrecognised agency should also be given an equal chance just as the ones from top agencies get. I think this time DDB Mudra would win.

Yash Bhansar, Supervisor, Interface Communications
Since Ogilvy is not participating, Mudra or Leo Burnett may win. I have seen their work for the past two – three years and I think they stand a chance.

Muffi, Chief Creative Consultant, Banana Brandworks
Taproot should win as they have done some good work.

Satyen Parab, Creative Director, Scarecrow Communications, New Delhi
For me, it is Taproot India which will win as they have done pretty well in Adfest. Everybody knows that it is a creative hotspot as Ogilvy is not there. I see McCann and Leo Burnett as contenders.
