Welspun India is scouting again. The difference is that where a few months back the company was looking for an agency for its retail division ‘Spaces’, the pitch now is for the corporate part of the business. Agencies for the pitch have already been invited and the pitch process is expected to commence in the coming weeks.
O&M, rmg david and Mudra are among the agencies invited for the pitch. The size of the business couldn’t be ascertained yet, but sources close to the situation said that it would be in more or less the same region as Spaces, which is around Rs 5 crore.
Welspun Spaces creative duties were bagged by rmg david, while the media was won by Carat. For the record, there will be no change in this side of the operation.
The Welspun Group is a Rs 2,000-crore business house having interests spread across manufacturing, exports and domestic sales of terry towels, bathrobes, speciality polyester yarns, cotton yarns, SAW pipes and pipe coatings.
