Wah Chote Nawab: Saif Ali Khan joins Ustad Zakir Hussain to say ‘Wah Taj’

After being lauded by tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain for years, Brooke Bond Taj Mahal has now roped in ‘Chote Nawab’ Saif Ali Khan to exclaim ‘Wah, wah Taj’.

The official communiqué stated, “Taj has always been associated with people who believe in and demonstrate excellence – a value that the brand embodies in all that it does, and hence, the long association with Ustad Zakir Hussain as the face of the brand. Just as the Ustad symbolises excellence in his field, Saif’s growth as an actor and his recent performances are a tribute to his desire and ability to excel. Saif’s National Award is a recognition of the excellence that he has achieved through years of rigorously honing his craft. This aspect along with the passion Saif shares for the brand makes him the perfect candidate to join Ustad Zakir Hussain in his association with Taj.”

Amrit Thomas, Category Head-Beverages, HLL Foods, said, “Consumers today are looking for unique and innovative experiences which make a statement about their distinctive lifestyles and personalities, be it wine-tasting or travel to exotic locations. We want Brooke Bond Taj Mahal to bring alive the romance of teas and partner our consumers in appreciating the subtleties, the vocabulary, the accoutrements and nuances of teas and thus, explore and enjoy the world of teas.”

For the record, the brand was relaunched last year with a superior marketing mix that included new packaging and a rich portfolio of flavoured Tea Bags and Connoisseur Teas to give a range of unique tea experiences to consumers.
