VLCC consolidates its entire creative business with Equus Red Cell

VLCC has consolidated its entire portfolio for creative duties with Equus Red Cell. While Equus was already handling the creative duties for its Healthcare business, now VLCC has awarded its Personal Care Products creative duties too to Equus. The Personal Care Products business moves from M&C Saatchi. The combined worth of the entire portfolio will be upwards of Rs 10 crore. The business moves primarily because of Equus' work for the company in the Healthcare domain, which VLCC sees as meaningful.

Commenting on the win, Swapan Seth, CEO, Equus Red Cell, said, “We believe the best means of growth are from within. And nothing gives an agency greater joy than being rewarded by an existing client. It is an indication of VLCC's belief in the value that Equus brings and the values it stands for -- ability with agility.”

Seth added, “The personal products space is a crowded one but in that domain lie certain epic opportunities. The brand has always been a shorthand for solutions and therefore we believe that that will be the axis of the offering and the communication. We believe that we have top-of-the-line products to deliver healthy bottomlines. We are pleased to have consolidated our play on the business. It is perfect when you have a lighthouse view over the entire brand -- economies of thought then come into play.”

It may be recalled that when VLCC was launched, the business was assigned to JWT. After 13 years with JWT, VLCC divided the business between Equus Red Cell which handled the Healthcare segment, while the Personal Care Products were aligned to M&C Saatchi.
