Vizeum India bags media mandate for BSA Motors; ac size pegged at Rs 20 cr

Close on the heels of the Luxor and Giovani wins, Vizeum India, from Aegis Media Group, has been appointed as the media AOR for BSA Motors. Industry estimates peg the size of the media business at Rs 20 crore. A division of Tube Investments of India Ltd (a Murugappa Group company), BSA Motors is the latest entrant in the e-scooter category. Within a short span, the company has been able to garner a healthy market share and extreme customer satisfaction on the products offered by the company. The company has aggressive growth plans.

Confirming the account move from Mindshare to Vizeum, KB Srinivasan, Vice-President, BSA Motors, said, “Vizeum’s strategic thinking ability, quick on the feet and proactive response rate, their passion and senior management involvement in our business convinced us of this partnership. We are sure Vizeum will be able to add might and muscle to our communication investment resources.”

Commenting on the win, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman, India, and CEO, South East Asia, Aegis Media, said, “I am delighted to see more and more clients placing their faith on Vizeum. We are proud to have won BSA Motors. It is proof of the passionate leadership that Yesu (S Yesudas, Managing Director, Indian Sub-continent, Vizeum) has been providing the organisation with, based on tangible deliverables to clients who believe in connecting with consumers in as captive a manner as possible.”

Reacting to the latest win, Yesudas said, “We are extremely delighted at the opportunity to serve and build this prestigious brand from a very early stage of its life. It is a hugely challenging assignment. Radical thinking, coupled with our passion to operate as the extended brand management team of client will ensure our success with the brand. This business will be handled out of Chennai under the leadership of EM Sreeneelakandhan, GM, Vizeum, with entire Team Vizeum India’s involvement and contributions.”

He further said, “I am also extremely thrilled about the brand portfolio Vizeum has been able to build in such a short time. For brands that believe in a changed thinking – from theoretical GRPs based on mathematical algorithms loaded on computer hard drives to radical communication solutions to marketing issues with accountability – Vizeum will be the only ideal partner in the current context.”

Vizeum operates in 48 countries and some of the clients served by Vizeum global include Coke, Ray Ban, DHL, Panasonic, GM, Total, Bacardi and Lavazza, among others.
