Vizeum India appointed brand/ communication consultant & media AOR for Giovani

MK Dhir, Chairman and Managing Director, Dhir Global, has announced the appointment of Vizeum India as the overall brand/communication consultants and media AOR for its brand Giovani. The business will be handled out of Vizeum’s Mumbai and Delhi offices. This announcement comes close on the heels of Vizeum India winning the Luxor/ Parker portfolio.

In an official communiqué, Dhir stated: “We were in the process of identifying a brand custodian for Giovani, and Vizeum was referred to us by media partners. After meeting the Vizeum team, we had no doubt as to why the media partners thought Vizeum would perfectly fit our expectation of a brand custodian. Their thinking is fresh, their experience is deep and their passion is immense. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial business association with Vizeum India.”

Commenting on the win, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman India and CEO South East Asia, Aegis Media, said, “This is a fantastic milestone for Vizeum and is a well deserved recognition. I’m proud of Yesu (S Yesudas, Managing Director, Indian Sub-continent, Vizeum) for advancing Vizeum through the right path. Vizeum India has proven that media agencies can indeed drive the overall communication process with accountability.”

Yesudas added, “We are thrilled with the opportunity to build this amazing brand. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the Giovani range in terms of the material, designs, style, finish, and most importantly, the value for money price tag. Unfortunately, the brand is not known for these credentials. As the brand custodian, our responsibility will be to ensure Giovani engages as many current and potential consumers as possible in a captive manner, using the available resources with prudence. I thank the client management for placing their faith in us and I would like to see Vizeum emerge as a media agency that provides actual and tangible solutions to clients’ marketing issues. The traditional deliverables such as reach, GRP, cost etc., will just be hygiene factors for Vizeum.”
