Tarun Nigam, former COO, VivaKi Partnerships has launched PM Media Solutions, which will have a full service offering with special focus on digital and content. The agency was launched on January 2, 2014.
Commenting on the launch, Nigam said, “A lot of emerging categories and potential of the Tier II and III towns will be tapped by our agency. We have a full-fledged media offering, ranging from the basic media services to digital and content integration and most importantly, creative offerings, which will be an additional edge. We are really excited with our partnerships and look forward to an exciting year ahead.” He further said that the agency has the backing of an established media house from Delhi, but declined to name the media house.
An MBA in Marketing from Philippine Christian University, Manila, Nigam has over 19 years of experience. He has earlier handled marketing and sales at UTV, and spent several years in WPP Media (Mindshare, Maxus and MediaCom) and Starcom MediaVest Group under the Publicis Groupe.
Before he moved as Office Head for MediaCom Delhi, he had led several clients at Maxus, including the large Hero Honda AOR. At Starcom, where he handled the entire north business operations, he had serviced Samsung, Aircel, Educomp and Makemytrip.
In his stint at WPP’s various agencies, he worked on accounts such as Gillette, Ranbaxy, LG Electronics, American Express, NIIT and Monte Carlo.
Nigam’s accounts at VivaKi Partnerships included Jaypee Group and Indian Badminton League.
