Vishal Bhatnagar has joined BBC India as Business Head, confirm industry sources. Bhatnagar was formerly with CNN-IBN as National Revenue Head, before which he was National Sales Head there.
From December 2004 to June 2012, Bhatnagar was with CNBC TV18 where he was head of Business Development for CNBC TV18 and CNBC Awaaz in North and East India. While he was Regional Manager at TV18, he set up the non-traditional advertising business division Focus for CNBC TV18 and CNBC Awaaz in North India.
He has also worked with Times Television and Times of India.
