UTI MF to choose creative partner for Rs 35-cr account

Following its recent move to partner with a media agency, UTI Mutual Funds is now reviewing the creative aspects as well. And, the financial major is all set to consolidate its creative account. UTI had recently called for a creative pitch, the decision on which would be taken by the end of the week. The account has been pegged at Rs 35 crore.

UTI Mutual Funds has a host of agencies that take care of its creative business. Among them, there are FCB Ulka, Ad Factors, Gold Mine, Fortune, Apex, Concept and RK Swamy. Industry sources, however, inform that the corporate house believed it was about time that the responsibilities should be brought under one roof and one agency should take care of all its creative needs rather than several agencies catering to various needs.

The pitch was called three weeks back and all presentations are already made. The agencies in the fray are FCB Ulka, JWT, Grey WorldWide, Lowe and Leo Burnett.
