Universal McCann bags media business of Monster

Universal McCann has bagged the media planning and buying business of Monster, which runs the job portal Chintamnai Rao, President, Universal McCann, while confirming the win, declined to disclose the size of the account. According to sources, Monster's media duties were with Euro RSCG's media unit, MPG, for a short while before moving to Universal McCann.

Rao also mentioned that following this win, the entire communication business of now rests with the McCann group. While the creative duties are with McCann Erickson, Monster's CRM business is being handled by Result McCann.

Arun Tadanki, CEO,, when contacted, also declined to comment on the size of the account on grounds of "corporate policy". Monster bought over a few months ago.
