TVS Motor Company shortlists 4 agencies; account size approx Rs 25-30 cr

TVS Motor Company, which has been scouting for creative agencies for its new projects, has shortlisted four agencies after first round of pitch presentations. These agencies include BBH, TBWA\India, Contract Advertising and Bates 141. In the second round, which is slated to take place in mid-April, these four agencies, besides the existing agencies McCann Erickson and Saatchi & Saathi, will make their presentations.

The pitch is for new projects, which would include the newly-launched scooters and bikes. It is learnt that the size of the business is approximately Rs 25-30 crore.

Tennis ace and youth icon Sania Mirza endorses TVS Scooty Streak, which is currently running a campaign. There was a bit of a controversy earlier when on the billboards Mirza had appeared in a wristband with a design that is commonly associated with marijuana. This was later seen as a slip from the stylists’ end and amends were made.
