Triton has bagged the creative duties for painkiller and flagship brand of Paras Pharma, Moov. The incumbent agency is O&M, which will continue handling the brand till the end of this fiscal. Triton will take over from O&M only from April 2007. Munawar Syed, Director of Triton, has pegged the account size in the region of Rs 12 crore.
Reacting to the win, Syed said, “We are happy to win this business. The return of Moov is an affirmation of Triton’s capabilities in nurturing and building brands, and the teams have been strengthened and charged up to deliver results, starting now.”
Elaborating on the agency’s strategy for Moov, Syed said, “We will be doing print ads, TVC, outdoors, etc., for the brand. We are expecting some more brands from the Paras group to come Triton’s way soon. We shall be officially making announcements in this regard shortly.”
It may be recalled that Triton had been handling the Moov brand for four years, before the company decided to hand over the account to O&M earlier this year. However, Paras Pharma has now decided not to renew its one-year contract with O&M, and instead go back to its earlier agency Triton. Therefore, Triton would win back the Moov account on the expiry of O&M’s one-year contract with Paras Pharma in March 2007.
Triton has been partnering the growth of Moov since 1993, making it an over Rs 60 crore brand and a must have product in most homes in India. The alignment of brands is part of the Paras strategy to achieve a quantum growth in turnover, setting for themselves a target of over Rs 1,000 crore by 2010.
However, when contacted, Paras officials were unavailable for comments.
