Triton wins business worth Rs 8 cr in 20 days

Triton has had a busy time adding new businesses like Papa John’s Pizza and Chili’s, PN Gadgil & Co (PNG), Audi Ahmedabad and Supernova Engineers Ltd to its kitty in the last 20 days. The cumulative account size is estimated at Rs 8 crore.

Commenting on the new wins, Pankaj Arora, Executive Director, Triton Communications, said, “Triton has been a challenger agency. We have built a reputation for ourselves with taking on brands and building them into market leaders. It gives us pride to introduce international brands such as Papa John’s Pizzas and Chili’s to the Indian market. We have been in the F&B industry with a successful track record. Having partnered the build-up of Fortune refined oil into one of the country’s leading refined oil brands, we have once again been entrusted by the Adani Group with the launch of their new brands of cooking oil King and Raag. A successful run with brands such as NECC and a number of regional beer brands from the UB stable has given us a strong foothold in the F&B industry as well.”

Papa John’s is America’s is third largest pizza chain. It has a global footprint in 31 countries. In India, Papa John’s has 23 restaurants spread across nine cities. The challenge for the brand is to create a space for itself amid stiff competition from international and local city players. Chili’s comes from the bouquet of brands from the stable of Brinker Inc, a company with an annual turnover of $4 billion. It recently started its first restaurant in India with the launch of its 200th international restaurant, in Bangalore.

PN Gadgil & Co is one of India’s oldest jewellery brands. With a 178-year heritage of trust and purity, the challenge for the brand is to accommodate the new opportunities arising in the market due to reducing geographies and changing lifestyles, without eroding the core equity and value of the brand. With an eye on expansion, PNG, a Rs 500-crore business, is poised for national and global expansion. It currently has a presence in Pune, Nashik and Sunnyvale, California.

Arora added, “It’s a privilege to be trusted with the strategic and communication duties for PNG. The challenge here is clearly to forward the values of the brand to new markets and audiences without creating a dissonance with the existing clientele that has been built over a reputation of over 178 years. Triton has the knowledge about this category built through the work we have done for the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India, apart from other jewellery brands such as Suashish & Cygnus, Ishis, and Joy Alukkas.”

“Audi Ahmedabad is a franchise of Audi India, selling luxury cars in Gujarat. It has a state-of-the-art showroom and workshop. Audi Ahmedabad is set to launch and initiate marketing efforts for the existing and forthcoming range of luxury vehicles. Triton will support all marketing activities of Audi Ahmedabad by providing communication solutions,” he further said.

Supernova Engineers Ltd is a company providing captive power solutions by manufacturing and marketing diesel gensets under the brand name Supernova Gensets primarily in the industrial segment. The company is now going to launch portable gensets through the retail segment. Commenting on this account, Arora said, “Triton will work with the client to provide complete communications solutions for projecting the right image of the company, paving the way for the successful launch of its portable gensets.”
