Tribal DDB India, part of the Worldwide Tribal DDB Network, has been creating waves in the New Media category with the various innovative works for their clients. The agency has won quite a few awards for their work in this category, the most noted being their work for Itchguard and Timesjobs.
Talking on the growth of new media, Leroy Alvares, Country Head, Tribal DDB India, said, “In the coming years, use of mobiles for accessing the Internet is growing to rise, and increasing number of people would be on the Internet.”
Recently, during World AIDS Day, Tribal DDB India had joined hands with exchange4media.com, MTV and Best of Bombay to support the cause. The campaign, which ran on December 1, persuaded users to adopt protection by allowing entry to their websites only if it is wearing a condom. For this, the agency had created a dummy webpage, which then redirected the user to the main page.
Speaking more on the various initiatives, Alvares said, “For Timesjobs, we provided a solution in the form of ‘Beyond the Banner’ campaign and the ‘Chartbusters’ campaign.” The ‘Beyond the Banner’ campaign allowed job seekers to upload a resume with just a single click rather than typing out lengthy forms. The ‘Chartbusters’ campaign added a fun element to the portal, wherein members were allowed to upload their compilation of songs – spoofs on classic hits.
“Tribal DDB is a comprehensive service provider which provides its clients a mix of pureplay and innovative solutions. We have grown double over the year and are the most awarded agency in this space,” Alvares added.
The agency’s list of clientele includes Yatra, Life Insurance Corporation, IIM Ahmedabad and Rediff.com, among others.
