Times, Wipro in strategic tie-up to bring broadband services

Times Internet, which owns indiatimes.com and WiproNet Limited have reached an understanding to synergise their strengths to bring a variety of narrowband, broadband and video-over-internet services to the Indian corporate world.

As per the agreement, TIL and WiproNet shall work together in exploring and offering the complete range of world class video, audio, radio and internet applications and services to the corporate clients.

Amongst the services offered are applications like Live-webcast of events, NVOD (Near Video on Demand) and On-demand services. The agreement is also looking at offering several new services like Integrated Module Services for combining PPT presentations and video on the Internet, Online-education, Corporate Training and Induction Modules etc.
