Times Group launches Liberty 360 Smart Living Awards 2006

360 Degrees, a Times Group venture, has announced the launch of the ‘Liberty 360 Smart Living Awards 2006’, which will be held on November 18 at Delhi. The Awards are in recognition of innovations and cutting edge development in the realm of housing, home décor, durables and real estate.

Senthil Kumar, who is spearheading this endeavour from 360 Degrees, said, “Liberty 360 Degrees Smart Living Awards proposes to provide the benchmark that will eventually aid and influence the prospective house owners’ decision in buying residential real estate properties and other house related products and services. The ‘Smart Living Awards’ is an independent index that will redefine smart living and recognises how strongly Indian house owners feel about India’s most preferred brands in residential real estate and other house related product and services.”

The Awards are backed by an in-depth independent market research by ACNielsen-ORG MARG and validated by PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

The Awards are partnered by BAI (Builders Association of India), CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India), CETMA (Consumer Electronics and TV Manufactures Association), IIID (Indian Institute of Interior Designers), and NARDECO (National Real Estate Development Council), among others.

Rajesh Mendiratta, Assistant Vice-president, 360 degrees, said, “As a progressive experiential marketing organisation, we aim to establish larger format events on the lines of Smart Living Awards. The thought behind this approach is to provide recognition to the growing sectors of Indian economy as well as felicitate the people who have brought these sectors into focus. We as an organisation, look forward to establishing a position for 360 Degrees experience not just as a progressive experiential marketing organisation but as a marketing solution provider.”

Commenting on the Awards, Adarsh Gupta, CEO, Liberty Whiteware, said, “The Smart Living Awards, based on consumer feedback, will certainly inspire manufacturers of top brands to further raise the bar.”
