Continuing on its promise to bring some of the best minds of the industry together, this year’s exchange4media Conclave, presented by NewsX and powered by ZEE, will see global leader Vikram Sakhuja, CEO, Maxus Worldwide address the elite gathering.

In the last 12 months, since taking up the global mandate, Sakhuja has been exposed to a new dimension of thinking. He will share his thoughts on the way brands approach media in India vis-à-vis the West. He will speak about how he has seen media across the globe evolve and what India can learn from / contribute to it.

The session will be chaired by media veteran Shashi Sinha, CEO, IPG Mediabrands India.

The Conclave is being held in Mumbai on November 25, 2013.

Sakhuja joined GroupM in 2002 as Managing Director of Mindshare Fulcrum that handles the Unilever business for Mindshare. He was subsequently elevated to the position of Managing Director of Mindshare South Asia, before being appointed as the South Asia CEO for GroupM.

Prior to GroupM, he has worked with STAR India as Executive Vice President – Marketing, The Coca-Cola Company India as Marketing Manager, and Procter & Gamble as Associate Manager Media.

In August, 2012, Sakhuja was named Maxus Global CEO. In a first of its kind development, an international media agency named a Global CEO based in India. The global structure of the agency, focus on thinking lean and the ability to keep digital at its core and go beyond the classical definition of digital for a media agency are some of the factors that will define Maxus in the near future, according to him.
