The Advertising Club announces jury for ‘Marquees 2017’


The Advertising Club, India’s foremost advertising community that is all set to present the maiden edition of Marquees 2017, has announced the esteemed jury panel for the awards. Presented by News18 India and powered by COLORS and MTV in its debut edition, Marquees 2017 instituted to recognise brands for their excellence in building effective and sustainable equity will now be adjudged by media legends including Harsh Goenka, Chairman – RPG Enterprises; Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder - UpGrad; Agnello Dias - Chairman & Co-Founder, Taproot India; Navin Chopra –  Ex COO, Vodafone & Sr Advisor, TPG Capital; Dilip Cherian – Founding Partner, Perfect Relations and CVL Srinivas, CEO South Asia - GroupM. The stalwarts along with Sanjiv Mehta, ‎CEO and Managing Director, Hindustan Unilever as jury chair are all set to bring great perspective and acumen into the judging process for the first edition of the awards. The debut edition of the awards is slated to premiere on August 11th, 2017 in Mumbai.


Speaking about the diversity of the jury panel for the awards Raj Nayak, President, The Advertising Club, said, “The illustrious jury for Marquees 2017 that consists of stalwarts from across categories brings in great diversity of experience and vigour into the deliberation process. Marquees is set to be a grand affair bringing together thought leaders and industry veterans from advertising, marketing and media fraternities.The awards endeavours to evaluate and recognise success of the brands by judging them based on not only how they advertised across platforms, but also taking into account important factors like pricing, distribution and purpose the brand served for the consumers at the end of the day.
