Tata Indicom consolidates its Rs 80-crore plus creative business with FCB Ulka

Tata Indicom has awarded its creative duties to FCB Ulka. It is learnt that the telecom player would focus on brand Tata Indicom in 2007 and that the campaigns would be championed by FCB Ulka. Hitherto, McCann Erickson was actively working with Tata Indicom for their creative requirements. The account size is pegged well above the Rs 80 crore-mark. For the record, the media agency on the business is Lodestar Universal.

Both agency and client were not available for comments on the development. However, sources familiar with the development informed that there was no multi-agency pitch.

FCB Ulka is no stranger to the business. The agency had worked with Tata Indicom for launching services like Walky in the last year. However, in 2007, Tata Indicom will be concentrating energies on the brand itself and FCB Ulka would be working on these communications.
