Tata Chemicals looks for creative partner for Rs 12-15-crore account

With all the action coming from the Tata Group, it is now Tata Chemicals' turn to call for a creative review. Presently, the account is with Bates India. Industry sources peg the account in the region of Rs 12-15 crore. The media duties of the business continue to lie with The Media Edge.

The pitch was called over a month back. Even though Tata officials couldn't be contacted for details, the sources in the know of the situation share that the first round of presentations has culminated and over four agencies are in the fray.

Tata Chemicals has brands like Tata Salts in its ambit. The company is a leading manufacturer of inorganic chemicals in India. It also manufactures fertilisers and food additives. Incorporated in 1939, the company has an annual turnover of over Rs 2,500 crore and is part of the Rs 65,000-crore Tata Group.
