The 59th International Festival of Creativity has announced shortlists for the Film Craft category. Taproot’s ‘I am Mumbai’ campaign for Bennett, Coleman & Co and BBH India’s ‘Tanjore’ campaign for Google Chrome are in the shortlist. Only two entries out of the total of 33 submitted under this category have made it.

Introduced in 2010, the Film Craft Lions is focused to honour the craft of the filmmaking process – the direction, copywriting, editing, or the skilful use of music or sound design. A total of 1721 entries from 48 countries have been submitted to the Film Craft category this year, an increase of 30 per cent compared to 2011. The category had 33 entries from India last year.
Espen Horn, Executive Producer, Motion Blur is the Jury President and Sneha Iype Varma, Executive Producer and Partner, Nirvana Films is the Jury Member from India this year.
The Film Craft trophies will be presented during the Film, Film Craft, Branded Content and Entertainment, and Titanium and Integrated Lions awards ceremony, which will take place on Saturday evening June 23 at the Grand Auditorium, Palais des Festivals.
