Swiss kitchen systems major Franke moves creative, media business to Dentsu Marcom

Swiss kitchen systems major Franke has appointed Dentsu Marcom to service their account. The business is worth Rs 4 crore. The business is worth Rs 4 crore. Dentsu Marcom will handle the business for both creative and media from Mumbai. The account has moved from Advertising Avenues. No pitch was held for the business.

Franke's product range internationally includes kitchen systems, washrooms and sanitary systems, food service systems, and professional coffee systems. The company's other activities include the manufacturing of stainless steel components for industrial applications, tool manufacturing, as well as beverage containers.

"Dentsu's go-get-them attitude is something we believe in. We look forward to being infected with their growth fever," said Roshan L Joseph, Managing Director, Franke India.

The kitchen sinks market in India is largely in the unorganised sector, with Nirali being the only recognised competitor to Franke.

Dentsu Marcom's Mumbai office already handles the accounts of HDFC SL Insurance, Park Avenues, Suzlon Energy and Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic.
