StrawberryFrog makes official foray into India

After almost three years of conversations, creative outfit StrawberryFrog has officially entered India. The agency that calls itself the world’s first cultural movement agency had announced its India foray back in 2009.

The company has appointed former BBH India creative chief Raj Kamble as the Managing Partner for its India business. StrawberryFrog’s India operations would be headquartered in Mumbai.

Not that StrawberryFrog is a stranger in the India market, where it has already worked with marketers such as Mahindra, when it worked on the auto major’s brand Scorpio. Amongst the agency’s lead global clients are names such as Emirates, LG, Google, Microsoft and others.

Raj Kamble had joined BBH India in April 2011 but had left the agency as its Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer in a few months time. Prior to that, Kamble was at BBDO WorldWide, New York as its Senior Vice President on its global P&G and Gillette business. He has worked in Mumbai, London and New York and has picked up awards including Clios, Cannes, D&AD and One Show during his career. Prior to joining BBDO, he was at Lowe Worldwide for 11 years.
