StootsIndia bags creative and media duties of Colonel’s Kababz

StootsIndia, part of the Noshe Oceanic Group, has been assigned the creative and media duties of Colonel’s Kababz. The account size is pegged in the region of Rs 50 lakh.

Colonel’s Kababz is a chain of restaurant and takeaways founded in 1990 by Colonel K N Kochchar. After the demise of Kochchar, the business is now handled by his sons Bonney Kochchar and Bobby Kochchar.

Commenting on the account win, Kanika Narang, AVP, Stootsindia, said, “Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm, but it’s a challenge to reposition the brand when you have stiff competition around. Since the target group covers a large section of the society who are die-hard foodies, the marketing strategy would involve a 360-degree communication.”

As part of the work, Stootsindia has planned to revamp the brand’s image with conceptual ads and aggressive promotional schemes. The main focus will be on print media and will include dailies, lifestyle supplements and magazines.

Boney Kochchar said, “We were keeping a watch on the impressive retail therapy of Stootsindia, which helped in the turnaround of many of their clients, and am quite confident that their strategies will align with our vision.”

StootsIndia specialises in best-selling advertising and marketing solutions. Some of the major clients of the agency include Chhabra555, Shyam Garments, Alba Security Systems, Petals kids wear, and Simran Fashions, among others.
