Starcom Worldwide wins Tata Housing media account

Tata Housing, the property development arm of the Tata Group, has awarded its media mandate to Starcom Worldwide. The incumbent on the business is TME. O&M is handling the creatives for Tata Housing.

The account size on the business could not be ascertained since Tata Housing has not been spending much on its projects so far. However, sources close to the situation informed that with 11 new properties on the anvil, Tata Housing was looking at upping its media spends.

While neither the agency nor the client was available for comments, sources close to the development have informed that the advertiser was in talks with multiple agencies before the decision on Starcom was taken. Details on the other agencies were not known at the time of filing the report.

Established in 1984 as the property development arm of the Tata Group of Companies, the key areas of activity for Tata Housing include identification of land, project conceptualisation, designing, development and marketing, and estate management. Some of the clients from the corporate world who have purchased or leased space from Tata Housing include the likes of Lupin Laboratories, HUL, Philips, Knoll Pharmaceuticals, Mico, Axis Bank, IDBI; ICICI and L&T, among others.
