Starcom MediaVest wins media mandate for Lhotse Foods' noodle brand Eat-O

Lhotse Foods Products has appointed Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) as the Agency on Record for the soon to be launched noodle brand Eat-O following a multi-agency pitch. The account will be managed out of SMG’s Delhi office.

Lhotse Food Products is a subsidiary of Lotus Singapore Holding. Lhotse Foods is planning a national manufacturing footprint for packaged foods in India and launch of the same in Q4’2014. It will start by launching a range of Instant Noodle brands across the country.

On Starcom MediaVest Group’s appointment, Soma Chandra, General Manager, Marketing, Lhotse Foods Products said, “SMG’s approach towards launch was more strategic and aligned with our expectation. They were distinctively different with their screen neutral planning approach. We were keen to partner with an agency that is future ready and SMG’s readiness was demonstrated with their increased focus on Digital, Analytics & Consumer Insight. We were also impressed with their track record on successful new launches in past."
